Functions as Test Examiner: -Monitor registration for students testing on GED, CLEP and HESI exams. - Administer TSI Assessment, GED, CLEP, HESI, make-up exams, special population exams, correspondence exams and other college assessments. - Administer the TSI Assessment at various offsite locations. - Processes all paperwork and documents for all exams. - Stays abreast of and upholds all standards of all exams including confidentiality, test integrity, and test security. - Uploads TSI Assessment scores in Banner. - Maintains secure storage and test security of all college test materials. - Answer phones and disseminate testing information (i.e. test schedules, procedures for registration, payment, etc.) - Assist students, staff, and faculty with testing related information. - Refers students to Educational Planning & Counseling or appropriate office for advice about testing options, availability of tests, score requirements, steps to enrollment, problem solving and resolutions. - Resolves and reports issues in the absence of Testing Coordinator. - Troubleshoots and reports problems with testing facilities, hardware, software, and various testing vendors' products and services to the Testing Coordinator. - Collaborates with various testing agencies (ACT, College Board, Texas Education Agency, UT Scoring Center, American Council on Education) pertaining to test administration. - Collaborates with San Jacinto College departments (i.e. ITS, EPC, Professors, Call Center, Enrollment Services, Maintenance, and Continuing Education). - Other duties as assigned. -- Must have an Associate's Degree. - Must be able to qualify as a GED Examiner by taking and passing the Certified Test Administrator Exam. - Must be able to work comfortably with computer software such as Microsoft Word and computerized testing software. - Must have good communication skills, both oral and written. - Must be available for evening and weekend duty and be able to sit for long periods of time. - Must understand and demonstrate the ability to work in an integrated enrollment services environment. -Must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
