Programmer Analyst

The Programmer Analyst will be will be responsible for report development, and analytic support for various projects, reports, and interfaces related to University applications. This position will involve meeting with end-users to understand their needs, document requirements, then design, code and test proposed solutions. A deep understanding of the client's business operations and how the data is stored in the system is necessary to be successful in this position. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, MIS, or related field. 2-4 years experience developing reports using Microsoft Pivot tables and Microsoft Sequal Reporting Tools. 2-4 years MS SQL using a standard programming language or platform (C/C++, .NET, Java, PHP, SSRS). 2-4 years of writing complex reports that pull information from a variety of data sources. Knowledge of object-oriented programming methodologies. Knowledge of database design concepts. Knowledge of GIT code repository, software configuration management, release packaging. Demonstrated customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and is a team player with the ability to work well independently. Must possess above average organization skills, excellent communication skills, and demonstrate independent problem solving skills.
