Director for Institutional Effectiveness

The Director for Institutional Effectiveness provides leadership for the College’s Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation effort; the College’s grant-funded Achieving the Dream initiative, and the College’s activities related to Washington State’s Student Achievement Initiative. In addition, this position facilitates faculty driven initiatives to improve student success; oversees the College’s instructional assessment and institutional research functions; and monitors the assignment and completion of activities identified in the College’s annual operational plan. This position reports directly to the Executive Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.

Project Manager – Transportation Careers Project

This position will coordinate all operations for the Transportation Careers Pipeline Project supported by a federally funded grant that provides education and training to adults and older youth in Tacoma, Longview and Yakima, Washington via simulcast instruction.  The Project Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with project partners, ensuring all project deliverables and outcomes are achieved within budget and time limits, prepare and submit quarterly and annual performance reports, and provide oversight of instructional design and delivery of courses.  This position reports to the Dean of Enterprise & Economic Development.

Nursing Retention Coordinator & Tutoring Specialist

The Retention Coordinator & Tutoring Specialist is responsible to support nursing students through tutoring in all areas of the nursing program curriculum. This includes communication (both written and verbal) with nursing faculty (full- and part-time) and with nursing students. In addition the position is responsible to participate in community outreach through Nursing information sessions, Job fairs, and speaking engagements.   This position reports to the Associate Dean of Nursing.
