FACULTY PRACTITIONER (CLINICAL-TRACK OR LECTURER)

Position Details:
The University of Iowa College of Nursing seeks an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in Adult/Geriatrics to serve as a Housecalls Faculty Practitioner. This is a full time fiscal (12-month) faculty rank position at the College of Nursing with a teaching role and a practice/service role.



In the practice role, the Housecalls Faculty Practitioner will provide the community with exceptional nursing-based health care while supplying the College of Nursing with clinical opportunities for the faculty, staff, and students as well as a source of revenue. The Housecalls Faculty Practitioner will function as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. Practice duties will include: providing direct patient care in the form of assessment, diagnosis, and plan of care for clients; documentation and billing of above; scheduling own patient case load; teaching and consultation (formal and/or informal) with families, staff, and patients. Teaching responsibilities will consist of teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses during the academic year (fall and spring semesters) and during the summer semester.



The selected candidate will be expected to currently have or successfully complete CPR certification, HIPPA training, and Mandatory reporter training as a condition of employment.

CLINICAL OR TENURE-TRACK FACULTY

Position Details:
The University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry, Department of Pediatric Dentistry is conducting a search for a full-time Clinical or Tenure-track faculty member. Major responsibilities include: Clinical and didactic instruction at pre-doctoral and post-doctoral levels, and participation in the department’s intra-mural faculty practice plan. Additional tenure-track responsibilities will include research/scholarly activity. Based on credentials and experience of the successful candidate, assignment as Program Director for Advanced Training in Pediatric Dentistry is also possible.
