Position Details:
The Department of Occupational and Environmental Health at The University of Iowa College of Public Health invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in Occupational Ergonomics at the level of Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor. Applications may also be considered at the level of Faculty Associate.



The Department of Occupational and Environmental Health offers a rich environment for collaborative research including a NIOSH-funded Agricultural Health Center, an NIEHS-funded Environmental Health Sciences Research Center, a CDC-funded Injury Prevention Research Center, a Superfund Basic Research Program, and a NIOSH-funded Healthier Workforce Center for Excellence. The department is also host of the Heartland Center, a NIOSH-funded education and research center in occupational health and safety.



The successful applicant will be expected to teach graduate courses in ergonomics, direct graduate thesis research, and develop an extramurally funded research program.
