Marketing Faculty

Position: Marketing Faculty
Department: School of Business
Availability: Fall 2009 (pending funding)
Responsibilities: Teaching various marketing courses and related business courses at the undergraduate and graduate level as needed. Additional duties include advising students; supervising internships; and participating in assigned committees, functions, and duties in the School of Business and Southern Nazarene University.
Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. or D.B.A. in the area of marketing desired.
  • A record of strong teaching experience or relative industry experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • High work ethic
  • Meaningful scholarship or performance within the field.
  • A commitment to the mission, vision and values of Southern Nazarene University.
  • Ability to connect business and marketing with a Christian world-view and perspective.
  • International or non-profit experience a strong plus.
  • Research ability also a plus.
Job Detail: The School of Business offers eight undergraduate degrees, including a B.S. in Marketing along with an M.B.A./M.S.M. program. Approximately 225 undergraduate students are enrolled in the School of Business; of these, 10-15 percent are marketing majors. Governing values include:
