ZERO Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer and supplier of ruggedized cases. Our high performance enclosures are known world-wide, and are used in commercial, industrial and military applications. We have an exciting opportunity for Customer Service Representative.

The Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative is responsible maintaining contact, following up and resolving issues with the customers.

• Include the following duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.
• Accurate data entry of new orders and updating orders as needed.
• Responds to customer calls and their requests for product specification information, pricing, sales orders, and delivery dates.
• Assists in resolving complaints.
• Acts as liaison between customers and production regarding orders placed, shipments, production schedules and inventories.
• Cooperates closely with Regional Sales Managers and others to handle special assignments as required to assure satisfactory order handling and deliveries.
• Follows order flow and takes appropriate action on delays
• Updates notes in system regarding status of order and/or interaction with customer
• Has some technical understanding of manufacturing and design.
• Works as a team member in the Customer Service Department to help ensure an efficient and quality department.

• Must be able to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from customers and co-workers (verbal and written).

• Strong computer skills including typing.
ERP experience a plus.
• Able to spend long hours on the phone.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Strong sales skills required.
• Strong telemarketing skills required.
• Must be motivated, self-directed, communicative and professional.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret travelers, sales orders, quotes, contracts and basic blueprints. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associates degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
