- Provide second level response for onsite computing environment and peripheral issues as outlined in the ITS service level agreement. - Assist in the creation and maintenance of virtual and streaming desktop environments. - Assist in the packaging and delivery of software to desktop environments. - Assist users with hardware and software problem diagnosis. - Assist users with hardware and software requirements. - Escalate issues which won't be resolved within the Service Level Agreement to the Endpoint leader. - Participate in continuous improvement techniques to improve efficiency and service to customers. - Other duties as required/assigned. - Must have a associate degree (or higher level degree). - Must have at least two (2) years related IT work experience. - Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. - Must have the ability to interact with end users in extremely critical situations. - Must have demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems related to the desktop computing environment. - Mus have ability to troubleshoot problems related to the desktop computing environment. - Must be knowledgeable with Windows operating systems (Windows XP, 7, 8). - Must be familiar with MAC OS. - Must have a clear understanding of the interoperability of the desktop environment with the distributed computing environment is required. - Must be highly organized and possess excellent verbal communication and documentation skills. - Must have strong listening skills with strong problem solving skills. - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
