Provides analytical and technical work in research, capacity planning, testing and deployment of desktop/laptop hardware and software configurations to ensure successful integration with the university network and systems infrastructure and PC/Mac client platforms. Provides third-level Service Desk support. Establishes School-level policies and procedures to support the packaging/imaging, deployment, and recovery of the PC/Mac operating system and software applications. Administers the change management process for ongoing updates to School PC/Mac configurations. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required 3-4 years' related experience Interpersonal/human relations skills Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and expert level telephone etiquette Expertise in computer hardware and software which includes Windows/Macintosh operating systems and handheld devices which includes Macintosh/Android/BlackBerry/Windows High degree of accountability, ability to accept highly visible responsibilities and take ownership of issues Must be comfortable working in fast paced, high volume environments Ability to mentor and coach peers and coworkers with technical solutions
