The primary function is to recruit, retain, monitor, assess, and serve at least 500 participants interested in pursuing post-secondary education each program year. There are three primary duties: 1. Provide college admission, financial aid, college readiness activities, advising, and computer skills assistance to assigned participants. 2. Develop and implement needs assessments for assigned participants. 3. Complete and submit accurate and thorough documentation of services delivered to assigned participants. Bachelor's Degree required with a major in Human Services, Counseling, Education, or related field 1-2 years of work experience. At least one year advisory/counseling experience with low-income, first generation college populations Experience in and or strong working knowledge of TRIO programs or post-secondary requirements and procedure are highly preferred. Experience in computer technology (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint,) Bilingual, encouraged
