  • Summary: The Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Arizona invites nominations and applications for a non-tenure eligible Assistant Professorship in Spanish to begin August 2014. A non-tenure eligible Assistant Professor is appointed initially for a one-year period. This appointment may be renewed an indefinite number of times subject to satisfactory annual performance evaluation. Promotion to non-tenure eligible Associate Professorship is possible after a minimum of three years of service in rank. Candidates should have experience in or willingness to work in the area of outreach and community development to help cement and expand the Department's partnerships with local communities and other constituencies.
