  • Summary: The Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Arizona invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2014. The search is for someone with a PhD in educational psychology, human development, or related field who is well-grounded in human development and how it applies to educational settings. The successful candidate will have interest in youth socialization and the challenges, opportunities, and problems associated with a lengthening adolescence and young adulthood. Further, an interest in minority youth, youth from low income homes, and youth not pursuing higher education is desired. The position offers the opportunity to be a part of a highly diverse, dynamic, synergistic department and intellectual community. The Educational Psychology program at the University of Arizona offers masters and doctoral degrees that are ranked nationally.
