Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Bachelors' Degree 2-4 years' related technical experience. Knowledge of management information systems, data structures, and application software. Oversee various campus applications with duties including application installation, configuration, upgrades, maintenance and user access/permissions. Along with the Application Administration team, develop and maintain documentation on system configurations and troubleshooting. Research solutions to reported problems and newly proposed applications. Follow existing protocols for tracking support and project time with internal ticketing system. Communicate with and provide support and training to end user groups on various applications. Participate in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new campus applications and initiatives. Previous experience with Sharepoint and strong communication skills highly desirable. Interpersonal/human relations skills. Ability to perform work that is technically oriented. Ability to analyze and resolve software application problems and recommend improvements. Ability to exert high level of visual effort.
